Last month, thanks to you, 7848 Charities again raised over $1100 for Children’s Cancer Network. This month on March 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. we are sponsoring Children’s Angel Foundation, the fundraising arm of non-profit healthcare provider Hacienda Healthcare. Please come by and lend your support.
The Children’s Angel Foundation is the fundraising “arm” for all facilities and programs under Hacienda HealthCare. In order for Children’s Angel Foundation to succeed in its mission, to provide an enhanced quality of life for our patients, the Foundation relies on friends in the local community. The Children’s Angel Foundation holds an annual fundraising event, the Night of Angels theater and silent auction event.

Children’s Cancer Network provides financial, educational and psychosocial support to children and families dealing with childhood cancer. We also strive to increase awareness of pediatric cancer research and the need to find a cure for cancer.

Hello Everyone. It’s a new year and Dei-Zinz’ along with the other members of 7848 Charities are pleased to invite you back to another year of our charity Bar-B-Ques. The first charity event for 2011 will benefit OCJ Kids, an organization helping one of our most valuable treasures, our youth. OCJ Kids’ charter is described in their mission statement:
Youth Are Amazing! They hope, dream, challenge, learn and lay the groundwork for their future and ours. The education, experience and family values instilled in a teen will follow them for the rest of their lives.
Every day, youth in society are exposed to unhealthy and unstable futures. OCJ Kids’ Mission is to equip at risk and troubled teens by providing them tools, resources, and positive adult role models to succeed and excel in every area of life.
This is a wonderful, worthy cause, so please come by and lend your support. See the details in the flyer below.

Our December Bar-B-Que was another successful fundraiser, raising over $1000 in cash donations plus food, clothing and other items for the Phoenix Rescue Mission. In addition to the Bar-B-Que, Dei-Zinz’ also sponsored a Season of Caring and side-walk sale from which participating vendors donated a portion of their sales.
This was the last fundraiser for 2010 but we’ll be back again the last week of January, 2011. Thanks to all of you who supported the 7848 Charities-sponsored organizations this year. Since September of 2009 we have raised nearly $15,000 and we could not have done it without you.
Please plan to help us continue the aid next year, knowing that all donations go to the charities. The merchants comprising 7848 Charities provide all the foodand condiments for the Bar-B-Qs and the labor and advertising so all of your donation goes to its intended purpose. On December 3, Dei-Zinz and all the 7848 Charities members will hold their monthly fund-raising event to benefit the Phoenix Rescue Mission. Phoenix Rescue Mission helps homeless men, women and children by providing food, clothing & other needed items as well as emergency shelter, showers, counseling and chapel sevices.
We’ll have our BBQ Lunch starting at 11:00 a.m. from which all proceeds will be donated to the Mission. In addition to cash donations we will also have collection boxes available where you will be able to donate food, clothing, personal items and more. Please see the list below for the most needed items.
